MIXING. IT can change everyting.

Mixing and mastering is more than just tweaking EQs, setting levels and reading meters. We see mixing as an emotional and expressive component in music, equal to recording and composing.

Can a mix truly influence how a listener experiences a song? Absolutely. Consider the nuances: Should the song feel light, as if floating on air, or carry the weight of dense mud? Does it demand the softness of velvet while maintaining a solid foundation? Alternatively, should it hit hard, embracing a gritty and confrontational presence?

Perhaps the instruments must dominate, creating a powerful ambiance, with the singer fighting to break through. On the contrary, should the vocals take the forefront, revealing the subtleties and sensitivity of the message? Does the lyrical content warrant a dark EQ on the vocals paired with bright hi-hats, or vice versa? It's the accumulation of a thousand such choices that define a mix. Above all, it requires a discerning taste and an appreciation for various genres.

And then – there is music fashion. Every year, the sound of music changes. Keeping up with the current sound is part of our job. Constantly testing new gear and production methods gives us that edge, and it's definitely about taste.
